Too curious and challenging, so i never performed it live. I don't like the term "ally", as it has the power to marginalize certain people at events which are supposedly protests AGAINST marginalization. I'm not an ally, i'm just a person, just like you. It puzzles me that bell hooks used this term at the end of her life, as it seems inconsistent with her earlier anti-marginalization stance. Are there any hooks scholars out there who can shed any light on this?
